About Me
Hello, I'm Suraj Vaja, , with over three years of experience in film scoring and music production.
I started out by entering film scoring competitions featuring spitfire audio and indie film music contest
Since then, I’ve composed over 5 films including a collaboration with Oliver Izzet Productions on his short film “The Fairypist”, with the score earning a nomination at the Short Sounds Film Festival
More recently I scored "Where Innocence Dies", with Hayden Hausenloy and his crew, exploring unique and authentic sound design to capture the world's surroundings and relationship between characters
Growing up, I was always fascinated by how music could elevate a scene, and how far you can push the limits of sound and music, breaking the rules to be endlessly creative to achieve a certain emotion, or to capture the atmosphere of a story
When collaborating with directors, I start by listening closely to their vision and understanding the film’s narrative. Throughout the process, I maintain open communication, using my skills and creativity to craft a memorable score
